Studied social & economic law at the Law Faculty of Utrecht, The Netherlands. Started her career with the Dutch national staffing federation, ABU, in 1986. Was secretary general of ABU from 1991 to 1996. Left the ABU to work for the global staffing company Vedior in 1996. At current holds the function of Director Group Public Affairs at Randstad NV (Randstad took over Vedior in 2008). Elected to President of Ciett, the global staffing federation in May 2014. Since 2005 chairs Eurociett, the European agency work federation, Is employers chair of the EU sectoral social dialogue for the Temporary Agency Work sector. Chaired (on behalf of the employers) the Dutch Pension fund for temporary agency workers, STIPP, from 1999 to 2011. And is board member of SNCU, the bipartite foundation that sees to the enforcement of the Collective Labour Agreement for temporary agency workers in the Netherlands. And, since 2012, a board member of CSR Europe.
