2295d35Manu, a political appointee in the Obama Administration, currently serves as a Senior Advisor for Technology and Internet Policy in the Office of the Under Secretary at the U.S. Department of State. At the Department, Manu reports directly to the Under Secretary of State and has reported directly to three U.S. Ambassadors advising them on telecommunications, trade, intellectual property, cybersecurity, Internet-related national security, data privacy, internet governance and other regulatory, policy and legal matters, with responsibility to communicate U.S. positions at formal bilateral and multilateral meetings. Over the past decade, Manu has served in all three branches of the Federal Government, while also practicing telecommunications law and general litigation at major private law firms.
