Kristin Sharp is the Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of Senator Mark Warner. In that capacity, she directs his outreach programs and manages high-profile projects, including his work on the transitioning 21st Century workforce. Prior to joining Senator Warner’s office, she was Legislative Director in the offices of Senator Mark Pryor (D-AR) and Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), Staff Director of the Subcommittee on Private Sector Preparedness and Integration for the Senator Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, and a Legislative Assistant for Energy Security on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee under Chairman Richard Lugar (R-IN). Before working in the Senate, she spent several years as a Research Assistant at the Center for Nonproliferation Studies. She has a Master’s degree in Political Science from Duke University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
